Welcome to DigiPod, a podcast network born in Fall 2024, created by students in the Digital Business Management BComm program at Humber Polytechnic! This all started as a class project for MGMT 4002 Product Management, led by our professor and Program Coordinator, Hanadi Alnawab.

Our mission? To develop podcasts as real products, taking them from just an idea to a full-on market launch. First, we created short prototype episodes and viewed them in class on a Popcorn & Podcasts Preview Day, where we had tons of in-class discussions to fine-tune our ideas. Each team took the feedback, refined their concept, and used it to produce their first official episode, leveling up their podcast game with every step!

The class put their creative hats on to brainstorm names for our podcast network, and after some tough competition, DigiPod won the vote (check out the image below to see the contenders!).

To bring everything together, we took a step back to connect the dots: how did launching our own podcasts relate to real-world Product Management? Throughout the semester, guest speakers and industry experts in both product management and podcasting shared valuable insights and guided us through the process.

We wrapped up the project with a final DigiPod Launch Event, where we showcased our podcasts to the Humber community and external guests. The event was a huge success, check out the full story and watch the bloopers reel, and some social media posts below!
