Meet the Product Managers

Product Managers: Dilnaz, Aishat, Khristina, Oleksander, Adelya
We are a group of five students collaborating on a podcast series about Canada’s aging population. Our main topics of discussion is why private insurance has to provide caregiver benefit for employees. Throughout our discussions with exciting guests, we explore all the concepts of aging, why companies should be interested in funding a research about it and overall why should people think about it now. We all research, interview, edit and story-tell, to create an engaging and informative series exploring this important social issue.

Episode 01: Funding of future aging: Why Canada Needs to Invest in Care Right Now?
In this first full episode, we speak with Suzy Wilcox (LinkedIn) from the National Institute on Aging about her mission in the institute, practice and application. Suzy shares insights from current research on how aging impacts people’s lifestyle: from a simple comparison of humans’ aging experiences. Would you want to age like your grandparents, or is there anything you would like to do different? How government and society could help with that?
Episode Zero: Family-First Benefits: Should Employee Insurance Cover Aging Parents?
Our Episode Zero features John Yip, CEO of SE Health, who shares his personal experience and why caregiving benefit was useful to him, so he wants more workers to be eligible for that. He shares how it works and discusses how companies can better support staff, who cares about their aging parents.
