Welcome to “Ka Chow”

Kachow is a podcast team exploring how movement, community, and mindset shape healthy aging. We believe aging isn’t something that happens later. It’s something we design every day through choices, habits, and the spaces we live in. Our mission is simple: keep moving, keep connecting, and keep aging with energy.

We tell stories that reveal how staying active, staying social, and staying curious can transform the aging journey for everyone — from our 20s to our 80s.

Episode 01: Movement for Life: Habits, Health & the Long Game

In Episode 1, we shift from lived experience to expert insight.

We sit down with Dan Rogers, a trainer with over 15 years and 30,000+ coaching hours, to explore how movement and mindset evolve across the lifespan. He breaks down:

  • the mindset mistakes people make in their early years
  • why “starting later” is harder than starting now
  • how small, sustainable habits shape health in the long run
  • the role of workplace wellness and community in sticking to movement
  • how to restart without shame after setbacks, weight gain, or health scares

This episode empowers listeners to take small steps today that their future selves will be
grateful for — proving that aging well starts now, not later.

Episode Zero: From 20s to 80s: Habits That Shape a Lifetime

This prototype episode introduces our core belief: healthy aging isn’t only about medicine — it’s about the everyday choices that shape our wellbeing. We talk with two moms — one in her 40s and one in her 60s — who share real, heartfelt stories about staying active, rebuilding confidence, and finding community as they age. They open up about motivation, doubts, setbacks, and the surprising joy of starting (or
restarting) movement later in life.

Episode 0 bridges personal experience with emerging research and shows listeners that healthy aging is built through movement, persistence, and social connection.
